John Thompson's Easiest Piano Course - Part Three
|Series||John Thompson's Easiest Piano Course|
Now available with audio to stream or download.
Featuring brand-new illustrations, Part Three of this easy and fun approach to learning the piano begins by showing the importance of playing and listening to music phrase by phrase rather than note by note. Examples of touch follow in proper sequence.
Each book of the course contains its own writing exercises, sightreading drills, review work and later, technical studies. Accompaniments for teacher or parent are supplied with most of the examples.
The accompanying audio is a wonderful tool for enhancing this method. Tracks can be slowed down or sped up to suit your needs, and the intuitive looping tool allows you to focus on one particular passage easily. Practice becomes so much fun!
Each track is split to enable the pupil to hear both piano part and accompaniment if the balance is centred, the accompaniment without piano if the balance is to the left, and the piano part alone if the balance is all the way to the right.
